Richard Reid gave evidence for the second time at the Board of Inquiry in Wellington today. Richard? summary of urban design evidence focused on the roading network's relationship to the Basin Reserve Cricket Ground and historic city plan. This shows a clear intentional planning to organise the city in a way so that all of these features are in alignment with each other". 


Richard stated that NZTA 's proposal would dismantle the underlying spatial structure of the city plan. The multitude of effects resulting from this would be both significant and adverse.


In contrast, he argued BRREO was very low impact, integrated with the urban fabric and would give the city directions for achieving the vision expressed in Wellington 2040: Smart Capital's
