Richard Reid & Associates’ design for the Waikaraka Cycleway Mt Roskill Cone Section has been selected as a national finalist in the Best Cycle Facility Project category, CAN Cycle Friendly National Awards. The project was jointly nominated with another section of the regional cycleway route, the Onehunga Harbour Crossing, which we also contributed to.

The projects were recognised for their “regional connectivity, community cohesion and place making quality, urban design excellence, reflection of heritage and character, and possible future inclusion in the national cycle trail expansion routes” (nomination by Cycle Action Auckland).
